NIGEL COUGHLIN
About
Nigel Coughlin, trained under artists Lucas Emerson and Vincent Kilcawey. He paints capturing strong, extreme emotion, with paint, straight from the tube, using wild playful strokes to make portraits experimenting with colour. The Artist lives and works making paintings and designing prints in Ireland.
He paints using acrylics and mixed media. He's been a full time artist over the 10 years. He assumed the position of an Art tutor in St. Michael's Family Life centre in October 2017.
